In person · The Village Around Me, Glenelg South
Small-group postnatal Pilates with your little one right beside you on the mat. Rebuild your breath, deep core and pelvic floor, and get strong for the lifting, carrying and feeding your days are made of.
What to expect
Every class follows the Flow State Method: breath first, alignment always, then strength you can feel in your everyday movement.
Reconnect with your deep abdominals and pelvic floor through breath, at a pace that respects where your body is in its recovery.
Build the strength you use all day: lifting the car seat, carrying on one hip, sitting up tall to feed. You don't need to lift heavy to get strong.
Your baby stays with you on the mat. Stop to feed, settle or cuddle whenever you need to, then pick up where you left off.
How the term works
Mums and Minis runs every school term as a 10-class pack. You join a cohort of up to six mums and move through the term together, so each class builds on the last.
Before your first class you'll complete a short health screening. Most mums join after their six-week check, once they've been cleared to return to exercise.
Movement should support your life, especially this one.

If you miss a class, you can make it up in one of three ways.

Hi, I'm Ashlea. I'm a qualified Pilates instructor with a Diploma in Professional Pilates Instruction (Clinical, Reformer, Pre and Postnatal, Injury Rehabilitation), registered with PAA and AusActive. I'm also a mum who rebuilt my own body after two pregnancies, and these are the classes I wish I'd had.
